Privacy Policy

Who we are

PRO Window Works is a window and door repair and installation contractor based in Des Plaines, Illinois. This policy applies to this website, myprowindow.com, and to the information you send us through it.

You can reach us at (872) 333-0473 or prowindowworks@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you send an estimate request, we receive what you enter in the form. This can include:

• your name, phone number, and email address
• your ZIP code
• the type of project and a description of it
• photos you choose to upload

You may also give us information when you call or email us. You decide what to share. We only need enough to respond to your request.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and our hosting provider may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. Security and spam-protection tools on the site also use this kind of information to block abuse.

How we use information

• To respond to your request, call or email you, and schedule an estimate
• To prepare and carry out the work you ask us about
• To keep the website secure and block spam
• To meet legal and business record-keeping requirements

We do not use your information to send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

How estimate requests are handled

When you submit the estimate form, the request is emailed to our business inbox. A copy of the request, including any photos you upload, is also stored on the website’s hosting server so that we do not lose it. Access is limited to people who manage the site and our business.

Cookies and analytics

The site shows a cookie notice. Your choice in the notice is saved in a small cookie called wpconsent_preferences for 30 days. Details are on our Cookie Policy page.

We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed. It uses cookies and similar technologies and receives technical information about your visit, such as pages viewed, device, browser, and approximate location. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google describes how it handles data in its own privacy policy.

Sharing information

We share information only as needed to run the site and our business, for example with our website hosting provider and email provider, who process it on our behalf. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

Links to other websites

This site may link to other websites, such as the Better Business Bureau, Google, or Thumbtack. Those sites have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for them.

How long we keep information

We keep estimate requests and related photos for as long as we need them to respond, complete the work, and keep ordinary business records.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email prowindowworks@gmail.com or call (872) 333-0473. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the date at the top.
